Nailed ("the App") is developed by Alwye Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.

The Short Version

Nailed does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything happens locally on your Mac.

Camera Access

The App requires access to your camera to detect nail-biting behaviour. Your camera feed is:

• Processed entirely on your device using local machine learning models
• Never recorded, stored, or saved to disk
• Never transmitted over the internet
• Immediately discarded after each frame is analysed

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• No images or video are captured or stored
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No personal information
• No cookies or tracking
• No third-party analytics services

Offline Operation

Nailed works entirely offline. The machine learning models are bundled with the App and run locally using WebAssembly. The App makes no network requests during operation.

Third-Party Services

The App uses MediaPipe machine learning models developed by Google. These models are bundled with the App and run entirely on your device — no data is sent to Google or any other third party.

App Store

The App is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data as described in their privacy policy. We do not have access to any data Apple collects.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
